Holiday home areas WMS

Holiday home areas are concentrations of holiday homes with at least 50 holiday homes and a maximum of 150 meters between the houses. Statistics Sweden delimits polygons for holiday home areas and then calculates statistics for these based on register data, such as Lantmäteriet’s real estate map, apartment registers and coordinated building registers. Holiday homes are defined as buildings without a population registered in the population, with a certain type code from the land tax register. Holiday home areas can overlap with urban areas and small towns. Until 2015, holiday homes have been updated every five years. Since 2016, they are updated every three years.
