Dataset description

There are currently courses that are unelectrified. The most common is that sidings are unelectricalised. About 80 % of the tracks where the Swedish Transport Administration is infrastructure manager are currently electrified. An electrified track is operated by electric locomotives, an unelectricised track is operated by diesel locomotives. The data product has stretch distribution and connects to the network with reference to the nearest previous node with distance in meters to both the starting and the end of the route in the direction of the track link. The data product is comprehensive on the Swedish railway network.
