Dataset description

All main tracks on the Swedish railway network are divided into different paths in order to simplify for planning, design and maintenance. The route should provide a holistic perspective for natural traffic flows, e.g. with regard to technical track standards. One or more contiguous parts of the runway are assembled into a string, where a belt starts and ends adjacent to an operating location. The data product has stretch distribution and connects to the network with reference from node to node in the direction of the track link. The data product is comprehensive on the Swedish railway network limited to the subdivision type Track Head/Side with value main tracks.
