LstF Cultural Industrial Environment

Total inventory with certain boundaries of the county’s most culturally interesting industrial environments in fields such as workshops, industries and municipal engineering works, where a building body was constructed before the end of 1965. Purpose: Create the conditions for the conservation and maintenance of the most valuable buildings and premises in cultural history as an important part of the county’s designated cultural heritage and as a basis for the preservation and revitalisation of this cultural heritage. The layer was created mainly in the mid and late 1990s and is not a complete register. Many objects have disappeared or burned down, demolished or modified and this has not been updated in the database, so there is a need for development to update such events on an ongoing basis. More items will also be added as the County Administrative Board becomes aware of new items in connection with inventories or other sources of information.
