Meteorological Analysis Models (MESAN, HIRLAM, AROME) — view service

The View Service is a WMS service that shows the geographical area for which the respective analysis produces data. The HIRLAM model was discontinued in March 2014 and was replaced by AROME. For MESAN, the area covers Scandinavia, the British Isles, the northern part of the continent and the Baltic States. Coordinates of the area are given by the corners: southwest 48.5N, 10.5 W Northwest 75.1N, 11.5 W northeast 63.3N, 51.6E southeast 42.4N, 22.9E For HIRLAM, the area covers Scandinavia, the British Isles, the northern part of the continent and the Baltic States. Coordinates of the area are given by the corners: southwest 48.5N, 12.0 W northwest 77.0N, 15.1 W northeast 64.6N, 55.2E southeast 42.6N, 22.7E For AROME, the area covers Scandinavia, the northern part of the continent and the Baltic States.
