Skredrisk, Probability and Consequences maps developed with a slightly simpler methodology than in the Gäu Göta River Inquiry. Mapping is nevertheless based on one based on a large amount of digital data. Norsälven (2015) was the first watercourse where this simplified methodology was applied. The methodological development has been carried out to reduce investigation costs and simplify the interpretation of the maps, thereby increasing the usability of the results. The methodology for risk mapping developed is applicable for straddling risk mapping along other watercourses — e.g. Säveån (2017) and Ångermanälven (later). As each watercourse is clearly mapped, it will be added to the data manuscript for “other priority rivers”. Both the methodology for probability classification and consistency classification can be used separately, the methodology for consistency classification can also be used for mapping other natural events. Used in prioritising measures, before planning new buildings and planning measures for existing buildings. See also http://www.swedgeo.se/sv/samhallsplanering--sakerhet/skredriskutredningar/
