Stop position

The data product contains features of the type “State Mode” and belongs to the product group STVDB and the product subgroup Other phenomena in STVDB. The data product is related to the stop location via the attribute stop-ID stop mode describes a marked identified location along the road network that is created for boarding and departing passengers to and from public transport vehicles. First of all, bus and coach vehicles, but the facility may also apply to other vehicles. The data product contains attributes describing the physical design of a stop position and shall be used in combination with the data product ‘Hide’, which constitutes the common identity of all stop positions at a single stop. The purpose of the data product is to support activities such as planning, operation and maintenance, as well as clarifying which stops/stations are adapted for people with different disabilities. The product stop position shall be able to facilitate information provision of adapted stop positions when travelling on public transport for persons with disabilities.
