Dataset description
In VISS (Water Information SystemSweden) there are status classifications of Sweden’s water bodies — assessments of the status of waters. The water body classification for lakes, streams and coastal waters comes from SMHI and is delimited on a scale of 1:250 000. Groundwater bodies are delimited by SGU. The service displays water bodies with the VISS summary status ratings. Shows the ecological and chemical (including and excluding mercury) status of surface water and the chemical and quantitative status of groundwater. In addition, the reliability classification for ecological and chemical status is shown. The services are continuously updated.
