Completing the census of the peasant house, this exhaustive census was conducted by Jean-Pierre Anderegg between 1987 and 1996, in accordance with the decree of the Council of State of 10 April 1990 on the conservation of the Alpine architectural heritage. Alpine chalets, cottages, saloirs or stables, fenils: 1349 buildings were identified, photographed and documented. To our knowledge, this identification is the first of its kind in the European Alpine field. All the documentation used for this map and the census itself are currently kept in the archives of the Cultural Property Service.
