Dataset description

Watercolours from the hand of Adolf Pochon. They show Swiss uniforms from all cantons and of soldiers in foreign service. They depict uniforms from 1703 (Swiss garrison in French service) to 1875 (Swiss ordinance, Dutch and Neapolitan service). The 2009 supplement contains uniform depictions from 1694-1869.
