Dataset description

The avenue concept includes existing and planned rows of trees within the city of Zurich, but also some in planningally important areas and some outside the city border. **Purpose**: On 16.10.1991, the City Council issued the avenue concept with the intention of increasing the tree population in the city.The Allen Concept aims to achieve this goal by showing planners, projectors and builders where existing rows of trees are added and where new rows of trees are to be created.
