Inventory of all known ponds, water basins, shelters and congestion areas where amphibian and/or dragonfly deposits are expected. The list is finalised in the GSZ and the ERZ area of competence, but not in the rest of the settlement area (especially private areas).
**Purpose**: Still waters are of great importance for nature conservation due to their high biodiversity. Particularly valuable are waters with the control species amphibians and/or dragonflies. Such still waters usually also have an attractive effect on recreation seekers. Still water losses should be minimised and compensated whenever possible. For their conservation, still water must be regularly maintained and rehabilitated from time to time.
The data set serves as the basis for planning for various activities: Determination and prioritisation of care interventions, promotion of the biotope network, management of recreational use, assessment of construction applications and projects (construction coordination). To what extent and to what extent measures are required will be examined in individual cases.
