Federal Statistical Multiannual Programme 2020-2023

The Multiannual Statistical Programme of the Federal Government 2020-2023 sets out the Federal Council’s guidelines for the information policy of public statistics and provides information on the strategic objectives and priorities of federal statistics for the legislative period. The program focuses on the multiple use of data and the targeted use of the opportunities of digital transformation. The aim is a system of federal statistics that will be able to tailor its statistical information and services even more efficiently to the needs of users in the future. The programme was developed under the auspices of the Federal Statistical Office (BFS), in close cooperation with the other statistical producers of the federal and cantons, as well as with important user groups from politics, administration, business, the social partners and international organisations.
