Dataset description

The theme includes the federal planimetric fixed points (FPS1 and FFP2) and cantonal fixed points (FP3) as well as the federal level altimeter fixed points (FFP1 and FFP2). These points serve as a precise and reliable basis for recording the objects of the different datasets composing the GIS. This theme is an integral part of the official measurement dataset. The update is carried out by Swisstopo, the patented surveyor engineers in collaboration with the cadastre and geomatics department.
