Dataset description

During the periodic follow-up (PNF) in 2017/18, the forest areas were traced to the official survey for the entire cantonal area. These geometries form the basis for “forest property”. The intersection of the forest areas with the properties of the official survey results in the geometries of the forest property. The ownership information is continuously tracked by the Forest Department and contains information for each forest parcel such as forest district and forest district affiliation and forest owners. Notifications regarding ownership information (not geometries) can be reported to the Forest Department’s Data Controllers listed above. Only geometries with forest are depicted. ‘Other stocked areas’ and unstocked areas are no longer included in the data set.
