The data set contains the addresses, textual descriptions and the locations of the blue information boards on protected objects of art and cultural history in the city of Zurich.
The panels may be attached to buildings, parts of buildings, wells, bridges, etc. The prerequisite for attaching a blue panel is usually the formal underprotection position of the object.
The monument protection boards refer to one or more protected objects of art and cultural history and are partly attached to non-inventory objects. Sometimes several panels are mounted on one object. There is therefore no 1:1 relation to the data set of the monument inventory. The georeferencing was also carried out independently and according to different points of view. The location of the panels was precisely recorded only in individual cases, often one of several addresses of the described object was used.
A later logical combination with the monument inventory is conceivable.
