Dataset description
Raw and standardised death rates in the canton of Basel-Stadt by sex and age groups since 2012. Death rates are updated monthly. Due to delayed event messages, the values of the previous months (number of deaths, death rate/rate) can change slightly after an update. The standardised mortality rate refers to the average population of the month of January 2012 of the canton of Basel-Stadt. The standardisation thus gives an age-standardised death rate for the respective sex in the age group “All”.
