Dataset description

The real-color True Orthophoto is based on aerial strips from the summer of 2013. Real color images are a combination of channels red, green, blue. True orthophotos are tilt-free. They are accurate in all areas. **Purpose**: Since true orthophotos do not have tilting (orthogonal), they have a very good fit to the roof surfaces of the city of Zurich’s 3D stad model. They serve as background information for the Zurich solar potential cadastre.
