Restrictions on sporting activities in Berland waters

Water sports activities are allowed from April 16 to September 30 from 09:00 (early watering) to 19:00 (latest watering). Canyoning is allowed until 31 October. Deviating provisions according to Annex 2 of the Fisheries Ordinance (FiV) and the Law on Shipping and Taxation of Ships (Schiffahrtsgesetz) are reserved. The geo-product “Restrictions on sporting activities in bernic waters” describes the waterways in which different rules apply to the exercise of water sports activities. Persons wishing to engage in water sports can inform themselves about the applicable rules in advance. This applies in particular to commercial providers of river rafting tours as well as various canyoning routes. > The exercise of navigation on the Simme, the Kander, the Lütschine, the Saane, the Aare from Innertkirchen, the old Aare, the Sense and the Engstlige (e.g. River Rafting) is subject to authorisation. > The commercial practice of water sports activities in federal hunting ban areas is subject to authorisation. The waterways shown require a lot of experience for a safe inspection. The visit/passenger as well as back and forth must be well planned and done on your own responsibility.
