Dataset description

The dataset of the road traffic accident sites describes the anonymised, localised individual data of road traffic accidents. Information on the nature and severity of the accident, the date of the accident and the location and type of road of the accident is available. As of the 2011 statistics, the road traffic accident sites are available in this model throughout Switzerland. The data for a calendar year are available in the spring of the following year. However, individual digital data in different forms have been available since 1992.
