The rock isohyps were determined in 2017 as part of the construction ground class map creation and are based on an altitude model of the Nagra. They were installed in the GIS Schaffhausen at the beginning of 2018. The rock isohyps are elevation lines and indicate the altitude of the rock surface in m above sea level. The distance between isohypses (equivalent distance) is 10 m. The map has been modeled based on drilling data, so accuracy can vary greatly depending on the quality and density of the drill data. The data connect the points of the same height and are represented as lines. The rock isohyps are, on the one hand, an important basis for the creation of the seismic ground class map in order to determine the thickness of the loose rocks (flour spacing), on the other hand, they serve to assess the subsoil in drilling or construction projects.
