Dataset description

The Swiss timber energy statistics provide information on the stock, installed capacity, consumption and production of electricity and heat of wood energy plants in Switzerland on an annual basis. 20 asset categories are distinguished. For the large wood combustion plants (cat. 12-17) are also available cantonal evaluations. Swiss timber energy statistics are part of Switzerland’s public statistics (legal basis: BStatG).
