Dataset description

Data on the location of weather stations to measure temperatures useful for calculating average temperatures and degree-days. Degree days are not calculated in all regions of Europe in the same way. In Switzerland, we apply the SIA (Swiss Society of Engineers and Architects) method, and we speak of “degrees-days 20/12” (20 °C within 12 °C of average outdoor temperature as a limit for starting heating). Degree days and average temperatures can be viewed and exported directly on the website suivant:http://appl.fr.ch/drupal_iframe/iframe.html
