WFS Veloparking Facilities

In 2011, the Canton of Zurich collected the publicly accessible bicycle parking facilities in the Canton of Zurich without the City of Zurich. These include facilities with at least 5 bicycle spaces (observable by markings, signaling boards or canopy) or wild parking (minimum 10 velos). The following areas have been excluded: pure residential areas according to the zone plan, hamlets with less than 30 buildings, secluded as well as private sports venues, roads with general driving ban, natural roads and private roads designated as such. Bicycle stations have not been recorded. These are merged in the “Coordination Velostation Switzerland” (www.velostationen.ch).
