Dataset description

Experimental statistics based on average road fuel sales, deliveries and stock levels at sampled filling stations in the United Kingdom. Data for the previous week ending Sunday will be added to the series when published. Data published every Thursday from 28 May 2020 to the end of August 2020 in the first instance, and then monthly for the remainder of 2020. Weekly data reporting reinstated from mid November 2020. Monthly data reporting reinstated from August 2021. Weekly data reporting reinstated from October 2021 in response to road fuel shortages and subsequent Russian invasion of Ukraine. Monthly data reporting reinstated from August 2022.
