Traffic Management Orders (TMOs) are legal documents drafted and made by the council, usually under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. They regulate the use of highways for movement and parking and also off street parking areas within the borough by drivers of vehicles and/or pedestrians.
Since 2014, the council has introduced two consolidated TMOs for parking across the borough. As well as the parent TMO, we include all the relevant amendments that have followed. We have also included mscellaneous/experimental TMOs which do not fall under either parent.
Mapped details of these orders can be seen on Barnet TraffWeb.
