Dataset description

In July 2015 ONS released re-weighted (in light of the 2011 Census) country of birth population estimates by local authority (2004-2013). This was followed in August 2015 by country of birth estimates for 2014. Data is now available for 2015. Update 09-2015 analyses the trends in London for the period 2004 to 2014. An accompanying Tableau visualisation tool has also been produced. Ward level country of birth data taken from the 2011 Census can be viewed via a ward Tableau tool . A Tableau visualisation tool showing population estimates by nationality can also be viewed.
