Dataset description

Information on workplace learning data. Workplace Learning covers a broad range of training – from basic skills to Level 2, Level 3 and other higher-level skills such as Leadership and Management. This training is mainly delivered through the workplace (but excludes Apprenticeships). Between 2005/06 and 2007/08 this included the Train to Gain programme and Standalone NVQs. Between 2008/09 and 2010/11 this included the Train to Gain programme, Employability Skills Pilot and other programmes such as Programmes for the Unemployed. In 2011/12 this includes all training mainly delivered through the workplace (excluding Apprenticeships).
