Horsham District Council Built Up Area Boundaries.
A built up area boundary defines a policy line which separates urban land, on which development may be acceptable, from the countryside, within which it is not. Built up areas have been defined for most of the towns and villages in the Horsham area, although some of the smaller villages have no built up area boundary and are treated as being within the countryside for policy purposes. Polygon data captured against Ordnance Survey Mastermap from boundary alignments marked on official designation maps and from original change direct to existing data.
