This workbook contains supporting data and information that sits behind GLA Economics [Working Paper 99](https://www.london.gov.uk/business-and-economy-publications/identifying-green-occupations-london). It sets out a working list of 'green' UK SOC2010 occupations (at the four-digit or unit group level).
These occupations have been identified based on a mapping exercise between US (O*NET) and UK (SOC 2010) occupational taxonomies using a crosswalk derived from the LMI for All API. This exercise involves a degree of judgement and the list of green occupations remains subject to development.
Tables 3-4 include a range of indicators on employment, skills and qualification levels, and pay for green occupations (subject to data availability).
Table 5 provides more detail on the mapping between the US and UK occupational taxonomies.
Tables 6-7 outline some of the green tasks/skills that are likely to see an increase in demand as a result of occupational greening (based on the original US research).
Please note: this workbook includes modelled estimates. Users are advised to consult the ‘Notes’ and ‘Summary of indicators’ sheets as well as the methodology section in the Working Paper.
