Dataset description
The sealochs of Western Scotland (MNCR Sector 13) have been studied as part of the Marine Nature Conservation Review programme. This included field surveys of the shores and nearshore subtidal zone to describe the biotopes.
This dataset has been split into two parts. This is part 1. Part 2 is available at: https://data.gov.uk/dataset/a2cc8462-782e-40ab-9ae2-65b1e49da058/mncr-area-summaries-sealochs-in-west-scotland-part-2.
The published version of this dataset has sensitive species redacted according to the JNCC sensitive species policy which is to adhere to NRW and NE sensitivities.
