Dataset description
The Domestic National Energy Efficiency Data-Framework (NEED) brings together information on domestic gas and electricity consumption with other information about domestic properties and the households that live in them. The full NEED dataset is not published. However, BEIS publishes two samples of the full NEED dataset (one containing 4,000,000 properties and one containing 50,000 properties) designed to be representative of domestic properties in England and Wales, while ensuring that information about individual households remains protected.
