Dataset description

Butterfly (Lepidoptera) Records for Northamptonshire from 1976-1985. Records vary in resolution from 10 km to 100m or attributed to known sites. The data helps to fill a gap in the records available for these species and give context to more recent records. The records were digitised from slips preserved by the local branch of Butterfly Conservation under the NBN Data Capture Initiative 2014-15. A small number of records are from beyond the county boundary.
