Dataset description

Flowering Plant Records from Northamptonshire Churchyards and cemeteries The dataset combines surveys organised/undertaken in the 1980's by local branch of the (then) Botanical Society for the British Isles with more recent information from records collected in connection with annual churchyards competition organised by the Wildlife Trust for Bedfordshire, Cambridge & Northamptonshire. The 1980's surveys were based on repeat visits through the year and should provide a good picture of the diversity of floral communities in the county's churchyards at the time. The data sheets were digitised under the NBN Data Capture Initiative 2014-15.
