In accordance with the requirements of the Localism Act 2011, the council has agreed a pay policy statement that covers a number of matters concerning the pay of the authority's staff, principally Chief Officers. This information is published as part of the [Local Government Transparency Code](https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/local-government-transparency-code-2015).
