Map of subtidal benthic stands in Douarnenez Bay (Source Blanchet A., Hamon D. et al. 2005) — Scale 1/25000

The digital map of the benthic stands of the Douarnenez subtidal area was published in 2005 in the Thematic Atlas of the Marine Environment of Douarnenez Bay (Ifremer Partnership and the City of Douarnenez, Ed. Ifremer, Coordination Augris C.). Different methods have been used: acoustic methods (lateral scanning soundar, multibeam sounder), sampling (hamon barn), underwater observations (video). Habitat typology was developed by the following authors: D. Hamon, A. Blanchet, C. Chevalier (Ifremer/DYNECO/Benthos).
