For the monitoring of complex, meteorological-hydrological circumstances in the area of the Johnsbach Valley, a hydroclimatological monitoring network was installed and described in detail in this thesis.
One of the characteristics of the installed stations is the coverage of many altitude ranges and the detection of slope inclination in the form of meteorological variables caused by the complex topographic conditions in the alpine area. The hydroclimatological monitoring network in the Johnsbach Valley is highly dependent on project financing. The research activities within the catchment area, which include the disciplines hydrology, climatology, hydrogeology and geomorphology, the hydroclimatological data collected, as well as the preliminary results, will be presented.
In a broader sense, the spatial distribution of the meteorological and hydrological variables calculated for the test area using the hydrometeorological model AMUNDSEN is presented.
