Dataset description
The Estonian Geodetic Points Database (GPA) consists of a database of geodetic points maintained digitally, which includes, among other things, the coordinates and heights of geodetic points, and geodetic materials from the archives of the Land Board.
An online collection of geodetic points is open, where you can find, for example, drawings and photographs as additional information on the points. The foundation and maintenance of the Estonian Geodetic Points Database is based on the “Establishment of the database of geodetic points and the statutes for maintaining the database”. The Regulation was enacted on the basis of Section 36(2) of the Space Data Act. The underlying document for entering data in the database is a report of geodetic work.
