Dataset description
Estonia’s main map of 1:10000 is a large-scale topographic map with information on communications (roads, power lines), settlement, hydrography, surface fashion, relief (equal lines and elevations and iso-degree lines and depth points of sea areas), toponums and land use.
The spatial data on the Estonian main map are mainly derived from the Estonian Topography Database (ETAK), the place names from the site name register and the iso-degree lines and depth points of sea areas from the database of the Transport Board (former Maritime Administration).
The map has several outputs: vector data, coloured raster card and black and white raster card.
Estonia’s main map of 2021:10 000 has been created from ETAK data as of 12.12.2020
