The individual data sent by CREDO Detector applications are mainly about the slice of the image of the detected particle (image code in base 64, X and Y of the brightest pixel, matrix size), time of detection (in the form of timestamp 13 characters), GPS location (latitude, longitude and altitude), account information (user id, team id, device id), in addition, pings are also sent (information that the device is working all the time, sent every 10 minutes) they include: time of sending (timestamp - 13 characters) time of receiving the ping by the base, and information about the device (device_id and user_id)

The research data comes from the scientific project initiated in 2016 at the IFJ PAN "Cosmic-Ray Extremely Distributed Observatory" - CREDO, which deals with the global detection of cosmic ray particles using the "citizen science" method, which was a prerequisite for achieving the scientific goals of the CREDO project. The CREDO project proposed to globally record cosmic particles using widely available smartphones, and for this purpose developed a novel and free application for interested parties. The "CREDO Detector" application was developed in cooperation with the Cracow University of Technology and ACK-Cyfronet AGH.
