Dataset description
The report presents the third and last joint evaluation of regional and national environmental monitoring under the joint sub-programme “Kisel algae in watercourses”. The sub-programme started in 2009 and is a voluntary cooperation between a large number of county administrative boards in Sweden. The report includes an evaluation of time series data for diatoms in watercourses from 2007-2020. Furthermore, the mission includes an initial evaluation of diatoms in lakes and a brief progress report on current eDNA technology for diatom analysis.
