Dataset description

The VISS (Water Information Systems Sweden) contains status classifications of Sweden’s water bodies — assessments of water status. The water body classification for lakes, watercourses and coastal waters comes from the SMHI and is delimited on a scale of 1: 250 000. Groundwater bodies are delimited by the SGU. The service displays water bodies with assessments of environmental problems of eutrophication, environmental contaminants excluding mercury, morphological changes, acidification, water abstraction, flow changes and continuity changes. Contains 17st dataset. This service is permanently maintained.
