Estimated household costs, summary

The Consumer Agency annually calculates some of the most common household costs that together account for about one third of the total household costs. The calculations cover both individual and household common costs and are based on a basic need for goods and services needed to cope with everyday life, regardless of household income. Here is a summary of the Swedish Consumer Agency’s estimated household costs. This table is also presented in Koll on the money. The calculations are divided into food costs, as well as individual and household costs. Food and individual costs are broken down by age, while common household costs are broken down by household size (1-7 persons)
