Dataset description

Cost data on what Swedish higher education institutions pay for scientific publication. This includes costs for subscriptions, publishing and transformative contracts (agreements intended to bring together costs for both reading and publishing). The costs are expressed in Swedish krona (SEK), and are divided into higher education institutions and publishers. Data are collected via the Bibsam Consortium and individual higher education institutions. Note that the data is not complete, since 2 018 KB has a government mission to collect these costs and intends to gradually improve the coverage rate in future work.
