Future potential deciduous forests

Future potential deciduous forests are a project with the aim of identifying potential development areas for deciduous forests, which can promote work with both green infrastructure and value areas in both planning and decision-making. The aim of the project is to present these areas as digital services aimed at users at both information and expert level. This is part of a preliminary study where map information has been developed for 2 areas, one in southern Sweden and one in Västernorrland. The datasets have been developed with the support of a reference group with participants from the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency, the Swedish Forest Agency and representatives of landowners.
