A change to the past is the concept of “maritime border of the sea” which replaces “territorial border”. The Swedish maritime territory comprises the internal waters and the territorial sea. See also the new Act (2017: 1272) on Swedish maritime territory and maritime zones.
The following attributes can be found in point shape file:
Röpnr_One — Order Number of the Territorial Points (TP) of the respective part of the route.
Section — The border is made up of two full stretches around the mainland and Öland and
around Gotland and Gotska Sandön.
Löpnr_TP — Order number of significant points on the border of the maritime territory.
Latitude & Longitud — All points along the boundary are described by geographical coordinates in latitude and longitude expressed in the SWEREF 99 reference system in degrees and decimal minutes as defined by law and in decimal degrees.
Punch type — The following points are present:
• border cut-off point, territorial point (TP);
• segmented point on a straight geodetic line or on a rhumb line between
two cut-off values (MP);
• segmented point of a circle arc between two cut-off points (MC); and
• point on the centre line of the Öresund described by the coordinates it
27 November 2014 was the presentation of this border line at the Swedish Maritime Administration.
