Net cost deviation after-school home, including open leisure activities, SEK million

Net cost deviation is net cost less reference cost for leisure centres including open leisure activities, here shown in SEK million. Pedagogical care (formerly referred to as family day care) is not included. Net cost is gross cost less gross revenue. The reference cost is based on net costs and structural variables for the current year. The standard cost for after-school homes is calculated using the variables’ share of enrolled in leisure centres and the proportion of 6-12 year olds. In addition, part of the standard costs from the sub-models include wages, building structure and population development. Positive values indicate a higher-than-expected cost situation and negative values a lower-than-expected cost. As of 2019, net cost deviation is calculated in a new way due to changes in cost equalisation. This affects comparability with previous years. Source: SKR.
