The data set describes substitutability relations between occupations. A substitutability relation can be expressed between two occupation concepts and on two levels, high (75) and low (25). A high substitutability means that there is great similarity in the work tasks between the two occupations. A low substitutability means that some of the tasks may be similar and that some kind of training program would be required to move from one occupation to the other. Occupations and the relations described above are created and continuously updated in consultation with stakeholders in the labor market. They are categorized according to SSYK, Swedish Standard Classification of Occupations, which is based on ISCO, the International Standard Classification of Occupation. The current version is SSYK 2012.. The occupation fields are produced by the Swedish Employment Service (Arbetsförmedlingen).
