Geometry describing traffic flows. Line geometry. Only for the municipal road network. Activity Analysis & Dialog, Traffic Planning, Transport Office. The traffic flow map contains data on traffic volumes in Stockholm broken down by light and heavy vehicles, per everyday average day and for a certain period of time over the day. Data refer to 2014-2015 which means that the Norra link is not included. The traffic volumes are compiled by the Swedish Transport Office from several different sources including the operations’ own measurements, the congestion tax system, the MCS system (Motorway Control System) on E4/E18/E20 and others. The traffic flow map is comprehensive, which means that a large proportion of the road network has interpolated traffic volumes, or standard values. It mainly concerns low-traffic road networks in, for example, residential areas. Interpolation means that streets without measured flows are assigned a flow depending on the surrounding streets that have measured traffic volumes. The percentage in parentheses is the share of heavy traffic. Traffic volumes in northeastern inner city should be checked with the Traffic Office
