Dataset description

The VISS (Water Information Systems Sweden) contains status classifications of Sweden’s water bodies — assessments of water status. The water body classification for lakes, watercourses and coastal waters comes from the SMHI and is delimited on a scale of 1: 250 000. Groundwater bodies are delimited by the SGU. The service shows water bodies with risk classes of non-compliance with ecological, chemical and quantitative status (groundwater) in 2021. Contains 8st dataset. This service is permanently maintained.
